Written by Jerry Jeff Walker, and a standard of Mr. Sammy Davis Jr. I’m dedicating this arrangement to my Dad, Jose Epifanio Olarte who taught me and the rest of our family the art of music and perseverance. Although I “walked away” from music for over 30 years, it was this early education in music and the discipline that he taught me, which is allowing me to follow his legacy. I’m playing a wonderful instrument made by the MagicFluke company. A local New England family run business. This is a “Pineapple” design, Flea with a Concert neck, rosewood fretboard, and Peghed runners. It is tuned in re-entrant tuning (High g).
